The readers of the Jacksonville Daily Progress voted Jacksonville ISD as "Favorite Place to Work" in the 2007 Reader's Choice Contest. Daily Progress representative Sarah Mintor presented JISD Superintendent Stuart Bird with the award on October 15, at the JISD Administration Building.
