Accelerated Reader:
Joe Wright Elementary is a Reading Renaissance campus. Each student is given an initial test to determine his/her reading level. Then each child is assigned a level to begin reading books. The goal is to
do well at one level and then to progress to the next level of difficulty. After the first six week period, the student and teacher together set a reading end of that six weeks period, each student who reaches his/her goal is rewarded in some way. This process continues for each six weeks grading period. |
