Freshman Fair Helps
Students, Parents Plan for High School
Jacksonville High School hosted a Freshman Fair for the incoming graduation class of 2012. The Freshman Fair was held in the Jacksonville Middle School Cafeteria on Thursday, February 21 from 6-8pm. The purpose for the event was to inform 8th grade students and their parents of the numerous high school academic paths and programs available at JHS.
The students will soon be completing course selections for Fall 2008 schedules and this event was designed to aid students in making these decisions. This casual yet informative session included Information Stations from all subject areas available at JHS. These Information Stations showcased the academic areas, extracurricular activities and service clubs available to students.
