She's A Keeper!
FISH! Award Winner

Sara Zadny, Art teacher at Nichols Intermediate School, received the FISH! Award for the month of May. Beginning her job in the middle of the school year, Ms. Zadny started a successful after-school art club for students, brightened up the hallways by displaying her students' creations, and lifted everyone's spirit by openly sharing her love of teaching.

Be There, Play, Make Their Day and Choose Your Attitude--these are the tenets of the FISH! Philosophy. Each month an employee of JISD, anonymously nominated by coworkers and selected by the FISH! Award Committee, is paid a surprise visit and presented with the FISH! Award which includes a framed certificate and a basket of goodies donated by local businesses.
