Ft. Worth Opera
Visits JISD Campuses

Members of the Ft Worth Opera performed "Hansel and Gretel" for 1st-4th graders at East Side Elementary School. The group also performed "Carmanella" for West Side Elementary in the afternoon. The performances were followed by very informative question and answer sessions with the students.
The group travels across Texas performing for almost 300 school audiences from September-April. The students enjoyed the performances very much. It is a great opportunity for students to experience live opera.
